How do I change ownership of a goal?


To change the ownership of a goal, the goal must belong to a team to which you also belong or you will lose visibility of the goal.  

 

1.     First, click on ‘Change Owner’ from the drop down menu of the goal which you desire to move.

 


 

2. This opens the ‘Assign Goal’ work box. You have the options to assign the goal to:

a. Assign the goal to Current members: Select the new owner from a drop down menu listing team member who currently use Cloud Effective’s productivity app.

b. Invite a co-worker: Enter the email address of a co-worker who has not yet signed up for Cloud Effective.

c. Invite an external user: Enter the email address of a colleague or friend who has a different email domain from your team. If they do not already have a Cloud Effective account, they will be invited to create a free account.



 

3. Enter new owner (Jack B. Nimble) and add appropriate comments so the new owner better understands their new responsibility the click on ‘Send Request.’


 

4. A pending change owner message will be displayed on the goal page until the new owner (Jack B. Nimble) approves the change request.


 

5. Jack B. Nimble receives an alert message via email and in the Alert Center within Cloud Effective, in addition to a dashboard notification of a pending action which requires input:


6. Clicking on either option 1 or 2 above will redirect Jack B. Nimble to the goal page will he will have the option to accept or reject ownership of the goal.


7. Jack’s new goal will appear on his dashboard and on his list of goals; and Getter Dunn is alerted that Jack has accepted ownership of the goal.


8. The team page will now show Jack as the new goal owner.
